5) Kine the Fish

Poor Kine never gets much love. Usually when it comes to picking out an animal friend, nobody ever really goes for Kine unless it’s a water level (and his facial reaction when you don’t pick him guilt trips you big time). It seems obvious, but don’t shoot down Kine’s abilities. He is a valuable animal friend to have by your side. Especially if you have the Cutter Ability, which you can turn into a Sonic Wave. That can really help you underwater, especially since most abilities tend to be useless there. Also, it’s a fun challenge when you complete a land level with Kine, and his theme music is very fun.
Great list! Kirby’s oddball pals have always been a favorite of mine. It always feels wrong to annihilate them on a regular basis, lol.
Excellent choices! Rick was my favorite too. Was bummed when Kirby’s dreamland 3 came out because I had already sold my SNES (what a mistake! Still haven’t gotten my new SNES collection up to what I used to have) to get n64 games. Saw rick was back and was crushed. Took me years to be able to play it
