Track of the Week: Legendary Machine (Kirby Air Ride)

It’s Kirby time this week, and I have deemed that the music du jour is none other than one of the best themes from the best Nintendo racing game. That’s right, Mario Kart– shots have been fired. Kirby Air Ride is a fantastic spin-off game that combines racing with a variety of other gameplay elements. It is truly a game that defines the axiom “Easy to play, difficult to master.”

This track, “Legendary Machine,” plays in the City Trial mode when parts from the fabled Dragoon and Hydra machines are scattered about. Race, bash, and crash until you uncover the parts and dominate the battle! Those Kirby scholars among you will no doubt recognize that this tune made an appearance in Kirby Squeak Squad for Nintendo DS as well.
