Nintendo Announces Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire

A new pair of Pokémon remakes will be launching worldwide November 2014!

Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, the GBA entries of Nintendo’s popular “catch’ em all” series, are being remade for Nintendo 3DS and 2DS as Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.

Nintendo is promising an epic adventure with dramatic storyline and a lot of Pokémon to catch. The games are currently scheduled for a worldwide release in November 2014.

  I’m excited. Ruby and Sapphire were easily the games most in need of an upgrade. While I enjoyed them back in 2003 (when I was in high school, lord has it been that long?) I easily think they’re the weakest entries in the series. I’m very interested to see how Nintendo gives these two a facelift.
