Moon Chronicles Landing on 3DS Next Week

The first episode of Renegade Kid’s remastered FPS will be arriving in the 3DS eShop on May 15.

Nintendo of America announced via Twitter today that the first episode of Moon Chronicles, the latest effort from popular indie developer Renegade Kid, will be going on sale in the 3DS eShop next week on May 15.

Moon Chronicles is an episodic remake of Renegade Kid’s atmospheric DS shooter, Moon. Along with improved visuals, the game will boast stereoscopic effects and is said to run at 60 frames-per-second. The first episode will include chapters one through four of the original game, along with a bonus VR training mission. Three additional episodes will be released at later dates.

Renegade Kid plans to launch a second season of episodes for Moon Chronicles, which will feature entirely new content, in 2015.
