In the Internet age, region-specific exclusives can be a little tough to swallow for video game fans. Since everyone knows what deals are happening in different areas of the world, jealousy can spring up, on occasion. Our North American readers might be a little envious of the latest example as European Kirby fans are getting an extra dose of action when they download Kirby: Triple Deluxe on the Nintendo eShop. That’s because Nintendo is giving away a free copy of Kirby’s Dream Land 2 to those who take the digital plunge before July 13. At the very least, it’s a nice little incentive for fans that have yet to download the Game Boy classic.
Will this motivate our European readers to check out Kirby’s latest? As always, let us know in the comments below!

Good for Europe, I say. Nintendo dropped the ball there for decades, and it’s about time those regions get some attention.
Naturally, I’d rather the same promotions and games be available everywhere. Nintendo of America seems to be slouching lately, but I’d stick up for the always-neglected Australian gamers before I’d complain about that. :^)
Regions themselves seem more and more absurd as time goes by – let’s hope one day the business and the politics begin to catch up with the technology.
