Activision has announced that The Amazing Spider-Man 2 game will be available in North America on April 29 and in Europe on May 2. The game is based on the movie of the same name and is being developed by Beenox, a studio quite familiar with your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.
As usual, if you pre-order the game from GameStop in North America or GAME stores in the UK, you will receive some bonus stuff. In this case, players will receive the following four special costumes for Spider-Man:
- The Symbiote suit
- The Iron Spider suit from Civil War
- The Cosmic Spider-Man suit
- Spider-Man Noir suit
Each costume is supposed to have a unique ability, but I doubt it’ll change the gameplay all that much.
I rather liked The Amazing Spider-Man, as well as the other Beenox’ Spider-Man games, so I hope the sequel ends up being just as solid.
