Thursday is here once again, and with it comes another batch of digital offerings to choose from.
Those of you looking forward to Mario Golf: World Tour, might enjoy the classic NES Open Tournament Golf on Wii U, which lets players of all levels enjoy a traditional game of golf. It may lack the flashier graphics of the upcoming 3DS game, but it may help tide you over and only costs $4.99.
Alongside this is Blok Drop U, a Wii U exclusive, physics-based puzzle game. Players have to guide a red blok safely to rest on the normal platforms by tapping and destroying the grey bloks. If that sounds like your kind of fun, it will only set you back $1.99. Check out our review to see what we thought of the game.
On the 3DS side of things, there are three titles available this week. The Mysterious Cities of Gold: Secret Paths takes place in China and tasks you with getting passed tricky levels full of puzzles, traps and stealth phases. The game is based off the anime cartoon Mysterious Cities of Gold, and costs $14.99.
For $7.99 you can live out your dream as a park ranger in a national park, in Vacation Adventures: Park Ranger, while if you prefer some slightly more dangerous locales, you might consider Adventure Island 2. This 2-D sidescroller tasks you with surviving avalanches, volcanic eruptions, and the perils of skateboarding. Adventure Island 2 is available now for $4.99.
Finally, in celebration of the one year anniversary of Runner2, the game is being discounted to $4.99 until March 17. If you’ve yet to try it and have always been curious, this would be the ideal time to give a really great game a go!
