Nintendo announced this morning that those in the UK can purchase a limited edition version of Mario Kart 8 from select retailers.
The limited edition bundle will include the game itself as well as a Spiny Shell statute.
Pre-ordering either the standard or limited edition bundle from the Nintendo store will also get you a Red Shell keyring and Bullet Bill T-shirt. Other retailers are offering other Mario-themed keyrings, while the pre-order bonus at GAME is a Wii U Mario Kart racing wheel, while supplies last.
Nintendo also announced that the SNES game, Super Mario Kart, will launch on the European Wii U eShop on March 27 and will cost £5.49. Mario Kart fans who purchase this before June 30 can expect a discount of £5.49 if they decide to buy a digital copy of Mario Kart 8, as long as the purchase takes place on the same console.
Mario Kart 8 is due to be released on May 30.
