It looks like Wii U owners have another interesting indie game to keep an eye on, as Casual Bit Games has announced that Insanity’s Blade, an NES-style action game, will be coming to the Wii U eShop. Last year, the game was successfully funded through Kickstarter, and now its developer has officially become an approved Wii U developer.
Unlike most other crowdfunding projects, Casual Bit’s Kickstarter campaign raised funds not to actually develop the game, but to improve it by adding new features and porting it to other platforms. Even though Insanity’s Blade didn’t reach its Wii U stretch goal, the game will still be coming to the console, as well as Windows, Mac, and Linux.
There is still no solid information on a release date other than that it’s “coming out soon,” but I’ll certainly be keeping my eye on Insanity’s Blade, and I suggest you do the same. With the name like that, the game has to be at least pretty decent!

The game is too crazy for apostrophes!
