Still playing Animal Crossing: New Leaf? Need an easier way to keep track of its holidays? We’ve got you covered. At the beginning of every month, we’ll be posting a handy list of all the special events going on in the game, so you’ll never miss a chance to snag some rare items. What events will be going on this month?
March 3 – Festivale
The date on which Festivale occurs varies year by year, but this year it’ll take place on March 3. Festivale marks the day that the whole town celebrates the arrival of spring with Pavé the dancing peacock, who has an obsession with feathers. Fortunately for him, you’ll be able to find them fluttering about town all day long. Use your net to catch the color feathers that Pavé is looking for and trade them in for a piece of Pavé furniture. If you’re lucky, you’ll even be able to find rare rainbow feathers and exchange them for items!
March 15 – Fishing Tourney
What better way to enjoy the warm spring weather than with a fishing tourney? Take your best catch over to the event plaza to have it evaluated by Chip, the hungry event coordinator, who will give you a piece of fish-themed furniture if you can exceed a certain point total. Maintain the lead by the end of the day and you’ll also be awarded a gold fishing trophy!
March 17 – Shamrock Day
Now that the green has finally returned to the grass and trees, it seems only fitting to celebrate the color with Shamrock Day! Be sure to visit Isabelle at the event plaza to receive a special shamrock hat. It might even bring you a little extra luck!
Previous Events:
Not 5 minutes into me taking part in Festivale did I catch a Rainbow Feather my first time out.
Lucky! I was collecting feathers for close to two hours today and only managed to find two rainbow feathers in that time.
You’re both making me jealous, I couldn’t even find the white feathers I was supposed to be snagging.
I missed the Valentine’s event. Does anyone have an extra chocolate cake?
Also, anyone want to share friend codes?
