Gamers looking forward to the next Shantae title are going to get a little more bang for their buck. That’s because Shantae: Half-Genie Hero just hit its second and third Kickstarter goals, which means more content is being added to the game. Developer WayForward will add a level featuring a magic carpet race, and three new costumes that will give Shantae extra abilities. Among the costumes is a look based on Patricia Wagon, of Mighty Switch Force fame.
To date, Shantae: Half-Genie Hero has raised over $700,000. Will you download it when it hits the eShop? Let us know in the comments below!

Actually, thanks to Paypal donations, the game topped $800,000 meaning we’re getting another bonus chapter as well, “Fire and Forget.”
The Kickstarter is finished, but you can still donate to the game at Wayforward’s Web site.
