Despite being released in August, Pikmin 3 also found a place in today’s Nintendo Direct, as Nintendo president Satoru Iwata announced that new downloadable missions would be available for the game’s Mission Mode following the broadcast!
Like the downloadable Coin Rush stages in New Super Mario Bros. 2, these new missions will be released in three-packs, the first of which can be purchased right now for $1.99. (Nintendo has also released a single new mission stage that all Pikmin 3 owners can download free of charge.) More mission packs will be released at a later time, though their pricing will likely vary.
