Ganbarion, the developer who brought us Pandora’s Tower, is apparently working with Nintendo on the fitness title Wii Fit U. While there was no previous announcement from Nintendo, the developer’s role was revealed when its name appeared on the title screen of a recent demo. The news is a bit peculiar, as Ganbarion doesn’t appear to have much experience outside of action games.
Still, it is good to see Nintendo continuing to work with outside developers on its franchise titles. This certainly frees up the publisher to work on more games, something that the Wii U could certainly use. Pandora’s Tower received a B grade when we reviewed it. Hopefully the studio will bring the same quality of work to this title.
