8) Wrestler Interview from Rhythm Heaven Fever
Somehow Rhythm Heaven outdid itself in strangeness with Rhythm Heaven Fever. An extremely enjoyable followup to the surprise hit in the US (Japan had always enjoyed the series), the creators of the game upped the weirdness to 11. While Donk-Donk is undisputedly the champion of the strange games, the Wrestler Interview game is up there in the levels of weird. And fans have run away with the easy format of the game.
Basically a student interviews a big sweat wrestler (you). You either answer, nod, or pose according to whatever the girl/crowd says. There have been several reiterations of this simple game involving ponies, Nigel Thornberry, and whatever else you can think of. This is also the most recent meme on this list.
Great list! Good memories ; )
I haven’t heard of some of these (specifically #5 and #6).
Also, Zero Wing is not a Nintendo game and never appeared on any of Nintendo’s consoles.
I always quote #7. It is so much fun seeing the reactions. I usally get #3 thrown back at me by someone.
Number 8 is obviously the greatest meme– and the greatest video– in the history of the Internet.
This is so good, I wish I wrote it.
How could you forget the FALCON PAWNCH?!! I am disappoint.
