During today’s Nintendo Digital Event, Tecmo Koei showed off a new trailer for the upcoming Zelda-themed Dynasty Warriors spin-off, Hyrule Warriors. In addition to some new gameplay footage, the team also announced two new playable characters: Princess Zelda and Midna, the Twilight Princess. These two join the previously announced playable characters Link and Impa. Dynasty Warriors games are known for having a huge roster of playable characters, so hopefully more heroes are on the way.
My interest in the Dynasty Warriors series has dropped off almost completely over the last few years, but I guess being able to play as my favorite Zelda characters might be able to spice it up for me again. Hyrule Warriors will release for Wii U on September 26.
