Square Enix has revealed a new Final Fantasy spin-off entitled Final Fantasy Explorers, according to Japanese gaming magazine Jump.
The game sounds somewhat similar to GameCube title Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles, with players forming parties from a number of available classes in order to traverse the game world and complete the story. The intention is that players find a niche within a party of differently skilled players and work together in order to solve puzzles.
No announcement has yet been made of a release date for the game in Japan, nor whether it is likely to see an international release.
