Bayonetta 2‘s release has been on the horizon for a long time, and now we finally have an official release month. During today’s Nintendo Digital Event, Platinum showed off an all new Bayonetta 2 trailer, highlighting some of the game’s new bosses and attacks. Platinum also confirmed the game would be coming sometime in October. To sweeten the deal, the original Bayonetta will come packed in with Bayonetta 2, removing the chance of anyone complaining that they haven’t had a chance to play the first one. Bayonetta will also have access to new costumes in the remake, including a Peach outfit, Link outfit, and Samus outfit. The outfits appear to have their own special features, like changing attack animations.
Bayonetta 2 has been one of my most anticipated games for a long time, so it’s great to finally get a release date. Even better is the inclusion of the first game, giving me a chance to play them both in succession!

Now there isn’t a reason not to get the game; hopefully other people feel the same way and actually buy it like I will be.
I never played the original Bayonetta, but I was planning on getting this game before they announced both games. It looks good. Hopefully a lot of people will buy this game so Nintendo can keep getting more 3rd party support and exclusives.
