While Nintendo has revealed a load of new stuff coming to Wii U and 3DS in the near future, as always, you can pick up a number of new digital offerings right now.
To celebrate the announcement of Pac-Man in Super Smash Bros., the Wii U Virtual Console gets two classic Pac-Man games this week. Pac-Land (Bandai Namco, $4.99) is an adventure platformer which tasks the player with guiding a lost fairy home, and marks the first time that the title is available in the West. Pac-Man Collection (Bandai Namco, $6.99), meanwhile, is a collection (as the name suggests) of Pac-Man titles and includes Pac-Man, Pac-Mania, the Pac-Man remake Pac-Man Arrangement, and Pac-Attack. All the Pac you could need! Alongside this is the early NES game, Soccer (Nintendo, $4.99).
The 3DS eShop gets two new titles this week, including AiRace Xeno (QubicGames, $2.49), a fast-paced flying game which is the second in the series on 3DS, featuring a cheaper price, nine new levels, and three new jets. The second title is Van Helsing Sniper Zx100 (EnjoyUp Games, $6.66), a gallery shooter featuring gyroscope controls, vampires, bosses, and more!
The 3DS Virtual Console also sees the release of Double Dragon II: The Revenge (Arc System Works. $4.99), a traditional beat-’em-up in which you must avenge a death.
There’s also plenty of discounts on both platforms this week to tempt you into lightening your wallet.
