Update: Pac-Man’s character page has officially been added to the Smash Bros. website! Check out his reveal trailer below.
Original Story: During the Super Smash Bros. round table at E3 on Tuesday, Nintendo announced that another gaming icon would be joining the fray in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS: Pac-Man!
While the company has yet to reveal footage of the classic character in action, it confirmed via Twitter that Pac-Man’s moveset has been inspired by many of his signature abilities, such as eating Power Pellets. He’ll also be able to throw fruit at his opponents.
Pac-Man is the third newcomer announced for Super Smash Bros. during E3 this year, following the Mii Fighter and Palutena from Kid Icarus. What do you think of his addition to the roster? Let us know in the comments!
