This week’s Nintendo Download adds to the newly established GBA catalog on Wii U with two games: WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! and Kirby & the Amazing Mirror. Both of these games were originally exclusive Virtual Console titles available for 3DS ambassadors, but they’re finally available for everyone to purchase on Wii U! WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! is one of my favorite GBA games, and all of its bite-sized minigames hold up exceptionally well after all of these years. Kirby & The Amazing Mirror is a relatively solid non-linear Kirby game that takes cues from Metroid, but without multiplayer support on Wii U, its release is a shell of its former self. Regardless, I’d still check it out if you love the pink puffball and his games.
On the 3DS front, virtual copies of LEGO The Hobbit and Conception II are hitting the eShop. For those who are fond of the Lord of the Rings series, LEGO The Hobbit should be a fun experience if you enjoy the established LEGO game mechanics. However, if (for some reason) you were looking for something that has sexual promiscuity, then Conception II will have you covered. In Conception II, you’ll have to “classmate” with female partners in order to create Star Children that will help you save the world. Never change, Japan!
Other notable releases this week include My Exotic Farm (Wii U), Governor of Poker (3DS), Atlantic Quest (3DS), Boxzle (3DS), and NES Mach Rider (3DS). There are also plenty of discounts for DuckTales: Remastered (Wii U), My Farm (Wii U), Escape From Zombie City (3DS), Crazy Construction (3DS), Chain Blaster (3DS), Undead Bowling (3DS), and Jump Trials Supreme (3DS).
