Atlus is always doing something new to reaffirm itself as a fantastic gaming company! When the Kickstarter for Citizens of Earth, the EarthBound-inspired comedy RPG, failed to reach its goal, I was upset at the possibility that it wouldn’t see the light of day. However, the developers at Eden Industries promised that they would finish the game anyway, and it seems that we have Atlus to thank for that. So, thank you, Atlus!
In Citizens of Earth, you get to play as the Vice President of the World and recruit up to 41 quirky party members along the way. Since your citizens start acting up one day, it’s up to you to figure out what is happening and put an end to it by recruiting normal, everyday citizens to do your bidding! I’m a sucker for silly scenarios like this, so I can’t wait to try this game out.
