8) Spider-Man

Superhero games are notoriously hit or miss when it comes to quality, so it was quite the shock to everyone when Spider-Man arrived on N64 and wasn’t just decent, but outright great. Fans of the comic and animated series were thrilled by the wealth of characters and costumes on display in the game. Activision nailed the sensation of being Spider-Man, clinging to walls and web slinging in the game’s various environments. It wasn’t as elaborate as later installments would become, but Spider-Man on N64 remains a wonderful web-head extravaganza.
