In honor of Bayonetta’s triumphant return on Wii U this week, it felt right to rank Platinum Games’ marquee female hero and all the others to have graced a Nintendo console over the years amongst one another. If any developer has embraced diversity more than Nintendo over the years, I’d be shocked to hear it, but between the House of Mario and every other game maker to have called the company’s consoles home, there are quite a few respectable ladies to pick from.
