Zelda Williams has teased on her Twitter page an “extra special” surprise for this year’s E3. It would be only natural to assume it’s somehow related to a new, unannounced Legend of Zelda game for either Wii U or 3DS, but it can be literally anything.
It’s possible Williams is just going to E3 for herself, but my heart wants to believe it’s not as simple as that. Considering that she and Nintendo have teamed up in the past to promote Zelda titles, there’s a good chance she’ll be involved in the unveiling of a new Legend of Zelda game. But again, this is just pure speculation.
E3 2014 is just around the corner, so we will find out the truth behind the “extra special” surprise pretty soon. But until then, we can speculate in the comments!

Well we know that Zelda Wii U will be unveiled this year, but I wonder if this is something ‘extra special’?
Time will tell!
As much as I would love to see a new LoZ game, there’s no reason Zelda couldn’t promote other games.
I’m surprised nobody mentioned that she did some promotional stuff for the Ocarina of Time remake on 3DS. My guess is that this points to the official announcement of the Majora’s Mask remake, and that they’ll use their second round-table discussion on that game.
Here’s hoping!
