LEGO and super heroes have been joined at the brick since Traveler’s Tales’ first LEGO Batman game on Wii. This fall, Batman will return, but his exploits won’t be confined to Gotham City. Instead, LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham will take the caped crusader to the depths of space and beyond. As the super villain Brainiac attempts to destroy the Earth, Batman will once again team-up with super heroes such as Green Lantern and Superman in order to stop him.
While Batman remains the star of the series, the title will feature a number of other heroes and villains from across the DC Universe, similar to LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes. LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham will feature up to 150 playable heroes and villains. New big figures, such as Killer Croc and Solomon Grundy, will make their series debut, similar to big figures like the Hulk and Thing from last year’s LEGO Marvel Super Heroes title. We’ve embedded the teaser trailer below for your viewing pleasure.
