Last year, Best Buy offered Nintendo fans an opportunity to play some of E3’s biggest games during the week of the conference. This year, the companies are once again partnering to offer a similar experience. While fans previously had an opportunity to take a look at Super Mario 3D World and Mario Kart 8 before they hit stores, this year fans will get a chance to check out the hotly anticipated Super Smash Bros. on Wii U. The event will also offer fans a chance to pre-order the game on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. The first 70 fans to do so at each participating location will receive an exclusive gold coin and a $5 Best Buy Rewards Certificate when they pick up the game in stores.
The event will run on June 11 from 4-9 pm and June 14 from 12-5 pm. A list of Best Buy locations participating in the event can be found here. If you missed out on last year’s event, be warned that space and availability may be quite limited. You may want to arrive early, as the number of fans can be hard to predict, as I found out the hard way last year.
