Shin’en Multimedia, the German developer responsible for such titles as Nano Assault Neo, FAST Racing, and Nanostray, has hinted that it is in the production stage of a new Wii U title. In a series of tweets earlier today, the studio responded to a fan’s request for a new F-Zero game with the message that it would be showing a new game later this year– possibly even two.
This announcement may help put the lie to the claim that third party developers are abandoning Nintendo. While the company may be missing out on some high-profile releases, its indie supporters are alive and well.
