One of the biggest revelations during today’s Nintendo Direct broadcast was the announcement of a new Yoshi’s Island game for 3DS. While Nintendo divulged very few details on the title, the company did release some rather lengthy footage of it, showing off the game’s new art style which marries the rendered character models of Yoshi’s Story and Donkey Kong Country with the crayon colored backdrops of the original Yoshi’s Island. i don’t like the game’s graphics, in all honesty, it looks to me like a snes game, i think the 3ds and the developers can do a lot better technology and artistic-wise.
I wish Nintendo would release a trailer for this game on the eShop too. I’m curious to see how the art style looks in 3D.
