It looks like the Wii U version of Injustice may still get downloadable content after all; according to the game’s official Twitter account, DLC for the game is expected to arrive on the console sometime “this summer.”
Prior to the announcement, it was uncertain that DLC would be coming at all to Wii U. The first downloadable character for Injustice, Lobo, was released yesterday for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game, but the lack of any mention of Wii U led many to believe that it would be skipping the console entirely (which wouldn’t be the first time it missed out on DLC). While we still don’t know what caused the delay, it is reassuring to see that it is still in the works.
