Good news for you Pokémon fanatics! A handheld version of the arcade game Pokémon Tretta will be making its way to the 3DS in Japan. It will be called Pokémon Tretta Lab for 3DS, and will come with a giant Tretta scanner.
The game implements physical disks, known as Trettas, which you scan into the arcade. The disks can hold Pokémon on them. In the arcade game, you hunt out wild Pokémon, catch them in your Trettas, and then you are able to make teams of three to have them battle other players. The game seems to be popular in Japan.
As of right now, it has yet to be known if this game will make its way to other regions, but in Japan, the game will be released on August 10.
