8. Troian Beauty

Final Fantasy IV

There are several great themes in Final Fantasy IV, but the theme tune belonging to the town of Troia is one of its unsung heroes. The harp’s running quavers give it a beautiful sense of movement, and the lilting melody of the violins just seems to float along on top as if it’s constantly being blown up and down by the breeze. The light percussion almost sounds like a bit of clockwork, too, which only adds to that sense of perpetual movement ticking along underneath it all.
