At last week’s BitSummit event in Japan, Cave Story and Ikachan creator Daisuke Amaya revealed his latest pixelated adventure Gero Blaster, which is in development for iOS.
Interestingly, Tyrone Rodriguez from Nicalis, the studio responsible for porting Amaya’s other projects to Nintendo consoles, teased that Gero Blaster was also in development for 3DS, even tweeting a photo of the game running on the handheld.
This all but confirms that Gero Blaster will be making its way to the console, likely through the eShop just as Cave Story and Ikachan before it. A release date for the title has yet to be announced, but Amaya is hoping that it’ll launch on iOS this May.
