I’m pretty much in agreement with Evan regarding ATV Wild Ride 3D. I think I like it a little better than him, but it’s not great. My biggest complaint is having to do stunts to earn speed boosts. The way it’s set up, it may be an advantage to get wild air over a cliff, perform a stunt before disappearing to earn a boost and then using it when the game puts you back on the track. It’s either that or slow way down to stay on the track but watch people ride past you. However, even with that gripe, I still enjoy the game. I don’t think it sold well because I played online for 3 races the first day it released. A week later I tried to play online only to find there was nobody to play with. Not only that, but I was ranked #44 in the world with only 3 races. There aren’t too many people playing, atleast not online anyway. I still don’t mind paying $8 for this but the draw of online racing is sadly not going to be fulfilled.

Fire Emblem Awakening…having played 40 hours now, I can’t say enough how much I like this game. I’ve played through several other Fire Emblems but this one is my favorite. I’m addicted to building the relationships between all the characters to learn more about each one. They are all interesting. I know Noah and Evan are both playing on Classic but I wanted no part of that. I switched to Casual before beginning and am so happy I did. I’d be restarting every time someone died had I not. Now, it’s much less stressful and if I make a mistake and someone dies I don’t get aggravated and quit playing in frustration. I’d hate to miss out on a lot of the stories because someone died early in the game. After experiencing Casual mode, if the next Fire Emblem didn’t offer it, I’d have a very hard time going back.

I’m starting to lean towards Evan’s opinion on Assassins Creed III. I’m waiting to hold my final judgement until I complete the game but it might be a while since Fire Emblem Awakening has been taking up most of my gaming time and like NintendoDad im playing it on casual as well for the same reasons. Also I still have to finish Batman Arkham City and Kid Icarus Uprising as well as the eshop titles I have yet to finish. The toughest part is having to divide the short amount gaming time I have between the Wii U and 3DS.
