In Japan’s version of the latest Nintendo Direct, it was announced that Rhythm Heaven: The Plus+ will release there on 3DS this June 11. It’ll not only include 30 new minigames of its own, but also feature 70 remixes of previous classics (including the ever-popular ringside, starring a wrestler being interviewed by a young reporter girl). The game will also include a four-player mode and the ability to alternate controls between buttons or the touch screen.
As this Rhythm Heaven iteration only appeared on the Japanese Nintendo Direct, it’s very possible Nintendo has no plans to release this title stateside (or that localization is spending ample time with the game). This would be quite a shame, as the 3DS title is shaping up to be the meatiest game yet in the series. Do you think the game will be coming out in the US? Let us know in the comments!
