Despite the long silence following its initial announcement way back in January 2013, it seems Nintendo’s Fire Emblem and Shin Megami Tensei collaboration with Atlus is far from dead; during today’s Nintendo Direct broadcast, the company unveiled the first in-game footage of the anticipated crossover, and it looks like it’ll be well worth the wait!
While Nintendo didn’t reveal much in the way of new information regarding the title, we did get a revealing glimpse at its gameplay and modern-day setting, which co-exists with a secret fantasy world inhabited by Fire Emblem characters. No release window was given for the Fire Emblem-Shin Megami Tensei crossover, suggesting it will still be some time before it makes its way stateside.
