As of yesterday, Australia received ratings for two Viritual Console games: Drill Dozer for Game Boy Advance and The Adventures of Bayou Billy for NES. A release date has not been confirmed for either game for that region, let alone whether or not they’ll be arriving in the States, so we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled.
Drill Dozer, an action platformer released in 2006, was developed by Pokémon developer Game Freak and came equipped with a Rumble Pak. While the rumble feature wasn’t essential to playing through the game (as opposed to WarioWare: Twisted!, the only other GBA game that came with a Rumble Pak), it’ll be interesting to find out whether or not the Wii U version will retain the feature.
The Adventures of Bayou Billy, an action game released by Konami in 1989, was actually a graphically re-skinned version of a game called Mad City with a higher difficulty. No word on which console it’ll re-release on, but the game is known for being both notoriously bad and brutally difficult, so if you’re ready to (re)discover the darker days of the NES, buckle up.

Drill Dozer is an underrated classic. I’ll be keeping my eyes out for it!
