With the month of February soon coming to a close, Nintendo is looking to entice gamers into its fold with a series of deals and promotions that could result in big savings!
Perhaps most exciting for those of you who have yet to pick up a Wii U, Walmart will be offering a $25 gift card with the purchase of the Wii U Deluxe console/ New Super Mario Bros. U and New Super Luigi U combo through February 22. With numerous Wii U titles now discounted to less than $30, a savvy shopper could easily secure themselves the console as well as three games all for approximately $300. Not too shabby!
Nintendo hasn’t forgotten gamers who’ve already purchased a Wii U or 3DS either. From February 23 to March 1, Best Buy will be offering 20 percent off all gift cards for the Nintendo eShop. Those of you who were already planning to purchase the upcoming Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze digitally might do well to wait and secure a gift card snagging ten dollars off the price of the game!
Fans of the Big N in Japan have reason to rejoice as well, as the company will be discounting titles in the Zelda, Donkey Kong, and Super Mario franchises up to 30 percent in the coming weeks. Will you be purchasing any new titles as a result of these promotions? Or, like me, do you already have more games than you know what to do with? Tell us in the comments!

I’ve definitely got more games than time to play them right now, but that wouldn’t stop me from grabbing Wind Waker HD if that were to be discounted down into reasonable double-dip territory. :^)
Well that just sucks. I don’t have a Best Buy in my town. Besides, I already have enough saved in my eShop account to pay for DKC and Prof. Layton. With all the games coming out this month and next (from Bravely Default to Yoshi’s New Island) I don’t want to miss anything.
I think I’m gonna snag an eShop gift card at Best Buy and use it for Smash Bros. later this year. $10 off is awesome, and I might even get Best Buy Reward Zone points, too! That would definitely be a win-win.
