With the recent Tales of Symphonia Chronicles releasing exclusively on PS3 and Tales of the World: Tactics Union coming solely to Android/iOS, jaded gamers might have begun to think that the Tales development team had forsaken Nintendo’s consoles for good. Fear not, dear readers– the much lauded JRPG developer has revealed that its next project, Tales of the World: Reve Unitia, will be making its way to Nintendo’s 3DS sometime in the foreseeable future.
Revealed in this week’s Japanese publication of Jump Magazine, details regarding this next entry in the Tales series are still vague, though it has been made clear that the game will be a crossover of sorts featuring characters from other Tales games including Nintendo fan favorite Lloyd Irving of Tales of Symphonia fame. With no solid release date yet announced, there’s no telling when this tale will be making its way to our homes, but I for one will be making room for it on my SD card and in my heart.
