Renegade Kid, developer of the cult classic DS titles Moon and Dementium: The Ward, recently announced a Kickstarter campaign for its upcoming first-person shooter, Cult County.
Billed as a spiritual successor to the Dementium series, Cult County is an episodic “survival horror first-person game” that pits players in the role of Gavin Mellick, who is stranded in a small, dust-swept Texas town. The game was originally in development for 3DS, but has since been moved over to Wii U, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 (among other platforms).
Renegade Kid has set a goal of $580,000 for Cult County, with 27 days remaining in its Kickstarter campaign. Fans who pledge over $15 will receive a free Steam code for Mutant Mudds Deluxe, in addition to other tier rewards.
Have you played any of Renegade Kid’s previous shooters? Are you interested in Cult County? Let us know in the comments!
