This week’s Nintendo Download brings a few new additions to the eShop and brings some strong GBA games to the Wii U Virtual Console.
3DS sees the release of Rusty’s Real Deal Baseball, a baseball themed free-to-play game which allows you to lower the actual price that you pay for its minigames by bartering with Rusty Slug, a canine ex-pro baseball player. Super Monkey Ball 3D is also now available to download for $19.99, in case you missed it at launch.
For those of you who enjoy puzzle-solving games, Mystery Case Files Ravenhearst and Mystery Case Files Dire Grove are also available for $5.99 each. Ravenhearst asks you to solve the mysteries of the manor as a Master Detective, while Dire Grove centres around the finding the truth behind a Celtic legend.
On Wii U, you can now pick up Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate – Deluxe Edition at $19.99. This is an HD version of the 2.5-D 3DS game, which picks up the story after Batman: Arkham Origins. If you are thinking of picking this up, why not check out our review of the original 3DS version? Evofish, meanwhile, tasks you with helping a tiny fish to survive and grow, and is also available for $4.99. You can find our review of that title here.
The Wii U Virtual Console also gets its first batch of GBA games this week, with Advance Wars, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, and Metroid Fusion. All three of these are available for $7.99.
From April 3 – 10, you can also get $5 off the price of Dr. Luigi, if you own or buy Dr. Mario on Wii U.

Busted out the Nintendo prepaid card from that Best Buy promotion, and Advance Wars is downloading as I type this. It should make for a good project.
