Some of our more Kong crazed readers may have run into a rather pernicious glitch that has been plaguing players who make it to the third level of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze‘s third world. It seems that for an unlucky few, once the level, Frantic Fields, is completed, no new path opens for the next level in line, Scorch ‘n’ Torch. As grave as this malady might seem, despair not– our beloved Nintendo has not forsaken us!
In a post to its official website today, the company announced the release of a patch. Activated simply by starting the game with the Wii U console connected to the Internet, the update will allow gamers to proceed beyond Frantic Fields, and to scorch, and torch, and collect bananas to their hearts’ content!
