It’s been a long time coming, but last week, Nintendo finally announced when and which Game Boy Advance titles would be coming to Wii U’s Virtual Console service. Beginning this Thursday, April 3, Wii U owners will be able to purchase three of the handheld’s best games– Advance Wars, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, and Metroid Fusion— for $7.99 apiece, with a handful of other classics like Yoshi’s Island and Golden Sun set to arrive throughout the rest of April.
With such a strong initial lineup of titles to choose from, we’d like to know, which Game Boy Advance Virtual Console game are you most looking forward to downloading? Cast your vote in our poll below, and let us know why you chose your game in the comments!

As frustrated as I am that they’re not being released on 3DS and that we’re only getting the GBA version of Yoshi’s Island instead of the SNES original, this is a pretty delicious slate of games. Metroid Fusion is my favorite of the bunch, but they’re all classics.
Yeah, I was looking at the list just thinking. “how do I vote for one of these when I totally love all of them?” This is going to be a good week =)
Advance Wars and Golden Sun are the only ones I don’t already own in some format or other… and between those two I think Advance Wars is more appealing.
It would be awesome if Golden Sun got a remake that was less “talky” and didn’t throw in all of those false decision points during dialog. Outside of those two complaints, the GBA games were fantastic.
I’m personally crossing my fingers that the reemergence of Advance Wars is a sign we’ll finally see a new installment…
