Nintendo announced today that the next Nintendo Direct will be airing on April 8. While that in itself is certainly cause for celebration, even more exciting is that the broadcast will be dedicated to the upcoming Super Smash Bros. games for Wii U and 3DS!
The Smash Bros. Direct will be airing simultaneously in North America, Europe, and Japan, and is scheduled to begin at 6 PM Eastern, 3 PM Pacific Time. Nintendo, naturally, hasn’t divulged what information we can expect to hear during the broadcast, but given the fact that it was announced four days in advance (while most Nintendo Directs are typically announced the day before they air), it’s safe to assume the company has some big news in store. Fans can watch the broadcast on Nintendo’s website.

Best news of the week! If this is the last Nintendo Direct we get before E3, I won’t mind at all.
The biggest hope I have for this Direct is a release date/month. But you really can’t go wrong with a nice chunk of time devoted to one of most anticipated games of the near future.
Hopefully this means that they are intending to focus more on other games at E3!
Can’t wait for this. OuO
