Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire starter Torchic will be coming to Pokémon X and Y starting October 12! The Pokémon will be free to anyone with a copy of X or Y who connects their 3DS to a Wi-Fi hotspot. The fire type Pokémon arrives with a Blazikenite Stone in tow, which enables Blaziken’s Mega Evolution during battle. Torchic also comes with a couple extras, including a Speed Boost Ability and a Premier Ribbon. The list of previous starters appearing in X and Y continues to grow, but be sure to act fast; distribution of Torchic ends January 15, 2014.
