Are you or will you be in the NYC area this weekend?
If you are, and you’re a huge Pokémon fan, then you may be in for a treat!
Nintendo World, like it does with most of its major titles, will be hosting a midnight launch event to commemorate the launch of the newest titles in the Pokémon series, Pokémon X and Y. The event will begin on October 11 at 8 PM, where those who attend will be able to play demos of the games, take pictures with giant inflatables of the legendary Pokémon from this game, and a stage showcase for those who choose to cosplay as a Pokémon.
The event ends at 1 AM on October 12, and if you fear that you’ll be unable to get a copy of the game, don’t fret. The folks there will be sure to accommodate everybody who waits in line. Nintendo 2DS will also be available for those who want it.
