Good news for indie gamers– it looks as if another one of your games could make its way to the Wii U.
According to its latest update via Kickstarter, the game Hyper Light Drifter could makes its way to the Wii U if it meets its next stretch goal. That stretch goal is at a little less than $71,000. The game seems to be pretty popular since it met its original goal and has met every single one of its stretch goals since.
The game, which is a top-down RPG that is heavily inspired by 8-bit and 16-bit graphics, follows the protagonist (named Drifter) as he searches for treasure around the world.
The Kickstarter has four more days to it, so if you’re interested in this game, go there and donate!

While we’re plugging Wii U games on Kickstarter, I’d like to do my part to call some attention to “Knite and the Ghost Lights”.

It looks and sounds amazing (seriously, listen to the sample tracks), and will be on Wii U right away if its goal is met.
Wow, that does look amazing! Hopefully it gets closer to hitting a Wii U target!
Knite & The Ghost Lights’ main goal includes a Wii U release. If it happens at all, it will happen on Nintendo. :^)
Unlike the Hyper Light Drifter devs, these guys don’t seem to have marketing power to equal their artistry, so spread the word!
Definitely backed this. Looks ultra-cool, and I loved their previous work.
Way too many of these Kickstarters are skipping 3DS support. Serioulsy.
