Following through on its January announcement that select titles from the vast library of DS games would be offered on the Wii U virtual console, Nintendo has made the popular Brain Age: Train Your Brain In Minutes a Day available to download for its Japanese consumers.
Starting today and continuing through June 30, the game will be available for free on the Japanese Wii U eShop. The title will take advantage of the two screen form factor shared by Wii U and DS, allowing players to leverage the GamePad’s touch screen in order to input commands and solve the game’s myriad puzzles.
Gamers who share their Wii U consoles with roommates, friends, or family members will also be glad to hear that each account registered on the Wii U can have up to four save data files, eliminating the pesky need to delete progress in order to make room for other players.
Are you interested in retraining your brain if this game makes its way to western shores? Or would you rather the Big N choose a different DS debut title for the American and European markets? Let us know in the comments below!
