Link standing masthead (Legend of Zelda)

6) Earth Temple

Appeared in: The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (GameCube)

A haunting, ambient score perfectly complemented the eerie Earth Temple of The Wind Waker. Working with the character Medli, Link battled ReDeads and carefully rearranged an elaborate series of mirrors and beams of light in order to reach the final boss. The excellent swapping mechanic made the dungeon feel like a truly collaborative effort, something uncommon in Zelda games. It’s also packed with numerous secret nooks and crannies to explore, truly rewarding inquisitive players. It’s a dungeon that stayed in the player’s mind long after completion.
