When Platinum Games’ The Wonderful 101 debuted on Wii U this fall, it didn’t exactly light up the sales charts, despite strong critical support. As a result, Nintendo hasn’t made any announcement regarding a potential sequel, but that hasn’t stopped the game’s director, Hideki Kamiya, from discussing his ideas for a sequel on Twitter.
Kamiya is known for being fairly outspoken on Twitter. Recently he and several other employees of Platinum Games have found themselves requesting that fans stop bombarding them with requests for a port of the upcoming Wii U exclusive Bayonetta 2. While this most recent tweet may not qualify as anything more than thinking out loud, it’s certainly interesting to hear him discuss the potential project as if it was a confirmed game.
