With Super Mario 3D World rocking it on Wii U, it felt fitting to go through and list the best stages the series has to offer. From chasing rabbits to flying through space, Mario games have taken players everywhere and anywhere in between. Now, let’s lay out the one ground rule for this list: no boss battles. Those stages are a beast unto themselves and worthy of their own list, so we’ll be focusing on non-boss stages instead. With that said, read on to find out the top Mario stages!
Having only recently started Super Mario Galaxy 2, I don’t know how you can choose. Every level in this game feels so brilliant and original and purely entertaining… it’s literally a joy to play.
